When a repair is throwing good money after bad

There is no magic year when every unit must die. Age, refrigerant type, and how often the truck has already been in the drive matter more than a round number.

If the repair is a capacitor and the unit is otherwise honest, we repair it. If the coil is leaking old refrigerant and the compressor is loud, we will put a replacement number next to the repair number and let you pick.
