The thermostat is not always the villain
A room that never catches up is often a closed return, a slammed interior door, or a sun load, not a $400 control.
A new thermostat will not fix a closed return or a room that cooks in the west sun. We see a lot of $400 controls chasing a $0 door problem.
Tell us which rooms never catch up, whether the filter is new, and whether interior doors stay shut. That is how we decide if we are looking at airflow before we look at a board.
